With Apologies to "The Legend of Billy Jack"

Listen, children, to a cartoon
That was lampooned long ago,
'Bout a kingdom up in Europe
And Mohammed down below.

Jyllands-Posten had a cartoon
Buried deep within a page,
And the Muslim people swore
They'd burn the Danish flag with rage.

Go ahead and hate your neighbor,
Go ahead and cheat a friend.
Do it in the name of Allah,
You can justify it in the end.
There won't be any trumpets blowing
Come the judgement day,
On the bloody morning after....
One Jihadist rides away.

So the Middle Eastern people
Sent a message, stubborn still,
Asking for reporters' heads,
Twelve cartoons for which they'd kill.

Came an answer from the kingdom,
"With our brothers we will share
All the values of our kingdom,
All the free speech that is there."

Go ahead and hate your neighbor,
Go ahead and cheat a friend.
Do it in the name of Allah,
You can justify it in the end.
There won't be any trumpets blowing
Come the judgement day,
On the bloody morning after....
One Jihadist rides away.

Now the Muslims cried with anger,
"Mount your horses! Draw your sword!"
And they killed the Danish people,
So they won their just reward.

Now they stood beside the cartoons,
In the kingdom, dark and red.
Turned the page and looked beneath it...
"Peace on Earth" was all it said.

Go ahead and hate your neighbor,
Go ahead and cheat a friend.
Do it in the name of Allah,
You can justify it in the end.
There won't be any trumpets blowing
Come the judgement day,
On the bloody morning after....
One Jihadist rides away.
